Sortec has specialized in systems for sorting, turning, and distributing crates, packs, shrink packs, or can trays for the beverage industry since 1998. This is where we started. Accordingly, many and different systems are in operation worldwide.
Sorting, Turning, Combining, and Distributing in the Beverage Industry
They sort all possible products and container formats from 1 → 2 lanes, which is the usual application. Otherwise, our systems sort from 2 → 3 lanes or from 2 → 4 lanes. Other sorting options are possible.
They turn products by 90 degrees, for example, can trays, bottle trays, cans in shrink packs, bottles in shrink packs, cartons, and crates of beer, mineral water, and soft drinks.
They distribute products from 1 → 2 lanes. Further, our systems distribute from 2 → 3 lanes or from 2 → 4 lanes, preparing layer formations to feed the palletizer: for example, boxes, cartons, wrap-around cartons, cans, or bottles in shrink packs.
They merge products, for example, beverage cans or bottles in trays from 2 → 3 lanes, commonly to create mixed pallets.
